Still back in July, the beach

One of the nights that we stayed in a motel, it was on the beach in Oregon.  It was so cold and windy that we didn't stay out too long.  I believe this was even on July 4th, and that is why we decided to not stay and watch fireworks or go find our own to buy and light off.  We instead rented a movie on the TV and popped some popcorn.  I wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the beach, but at least we got to play for a little bit. 

 The girls kept finding sticks and writing in the sand their names or other drawings. 

 The sun was going down so we didn't have much time to play.  I wasn't too bothered by it since it was FREEZING!!

 You can see Emily's hair flying, and everyone's coats all closed up.  These girls had such a fun time even though it was windy and cold.

 Lots of drawing in the sand, not so much playing in the water.  I'm not sure anyone even went to the water.

 Samantha and Amber were having just enough fun playing in the sand.

 Finally Samantha got the stick.  There were many fights over whose turn it was to use the stick. 

Too bad the beach isn't closer for us to visit more often.  Thankfully we get to visit it at least once a year, sometimes even more in our travels.
